High Solid Master Oil is used for oil finishing of wood floors with floor machine. The oil ensures a hard-wearing, dirt and water repellant surface. High Solid Master Oil is ideal for basic finishing of unfinished, new and newly sanded interior woodwork. It is suitable for any type of wood floor including cork. Use floor machine for the polishing.
Shake oil container well before and during use. Apply the oil with a short-haired paint roller in an even coat onto approx. 10-15 m2 of floor.
Leave the oil to be absorbed for 5-10 minutes. If dry spots appear, apply more oil.
Excess oil is removed or scraped onto next section of floor to be finished.
The area is now polished with beige polishing pad under doodle-bug or with floor machine until the area appears saturated. The floor should not appear wet and there should not be any excess oil left on the surface after polishing. Continue stepwise till the whole floor has been finished.
After 6-8 hours the floor should be buffed with white polishing pad. If a silk-mat surface is required, the finshed floor may be buffed with 1 dl High Solid Master Oil to 10 m2 of floor. This is done after the pre-hardening time and the oil must be polished carefully into the floor. Remove any excess oil from the surface.
After 24 hours the floor can be used with caution.
Tools may be cleaned with Solvent.
Do not expose the floor to water during hardening time – approx. 36-48 hours (white oil 72 hours).
After the hardening time the floor should be cleaned with Natural Soap , which leaves a protecting layer on the surface. Cleaning and maintenance may be done with Natural Soap respectively Maintenance Paste/Oil as required.
