Anti Slip - R9

DIN 51130 is a standardised anti-slip test for flooring. It is typically used for work places and official buildings where there is a requirement that products have the anti-slip test DIN 51130 with a classification from R9 to R13.

Sports test

European standard which specifies the requirements for sports floors and surfaces for indoor facilities, such as gloss, friction and reflectance.

Fire test

The European Standard EN 13501-1, which measures the reactions of building materials to fire. The reaction is determined by how much a product contributes to a fire and is classified from A to F.

EN 71-3

A European standard test for contamination of harmful substances. This test is especially relevant for worktops, toys and kitchen utensils.

Food contactable

If you wish to avoid a spillover of harmful substances from worksurfaces to food then look for the Glass and fork symbol. The manufacturer has to document that the surface treatment of the product does not release release harmful substances into food products. This is tested by an independent third party who assesses the composition of the product. Look for the symbol!

IBR

Voluntary labelling that ensures the best possible indoor climate as well as minimum of bad odours and other forms of contamination. The product is tested by a third party independent examiner.

Oil Care is a waterbased and indoor climate friendly maintenance oil that can be used on all oiled wood surfaces, oxidating as well as UV-/factory-oiled, and is especially suitable for the regular maintenance of oiled wood floors.

Products in use
Clean the floor with Intensive Wood Cleaner mixed into water. Leave the floor to dry for at least 8 hours. The floor must be completely dry befor treatment.Product, room and floor temperature should be between 15-30°C. Ensure good ventilation at all times during the application and drying time.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  1. Clean the floor with WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner. Leave the floor to dry for at least 8 hours. The floor must be completely dry.
  2. Shake the container carefully. Polish in a thin layer of theOil Care with a white pad, cotton cloth or use polishing machine for large surfaces. It is important that the Oil Care is carefully polished into the wood. Continue polishing until the wood appears saturated and the surface looks uniform.
  3. The floor should not appear wet and there should not be any excess oil left on the surface after polishing.
  4. Work in smaller areas one step at a time until the floor is finished.
  5. After 12-24 hours at 20°C, the floor can be used with caution. Do not expose the floor to water during hardening time – approx. 3 days at 20°C.
