Prior to treatment with Maintenance Gel, the wood surface must be cleaned thoroughly. Spray the ready-mixed Intensive Wood Cleaner onto the surface and leave for 5 minutes. Wipe the surface with a clean cloth that has been wrung out in clean water. The furniture should dry for at least 8 hours at 20°C. If the surface has become uneven (grainraise), the wood can be sanded with the black sanding pad (gritt 240-400). Remove sanding residue using the small brush head of your vacuum cleaner.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  1. Apply an appropriate amount of gel to a Hand Scrubber Flex Kit White and distribute over the surface in a thin, even coat. Continue polishing until the wood seems saturated and the surface has a uniform appearance. It is recommended to work on small areas at a time, as the gel is quick-drying. For larger areas (floors larger than 4 m²) it would be advantageous to use a polishing machine.
  2. Then wipe off all excess oil with a lint-free cotton cloth. No excess oil should remain on the surface.
  3. If the wood does not seem fully saturated after 4-6 hours, repolish with less gel than the first treatment, but follow the same procedure.
  4. Wait 4-6 hours before using the surface. Avoid getting water or dirt on the wooden surface for the next 3 days .
For daily cleaning, use a tightly wrung cloth with WOCA Natural Soap or WOCA Natural Soap, Spray. When used on UV-oiled surfaces, make sure to do a more thorough final polishing to remove all excess gel.
